A drive shaft having an annular groove is placed in driving connection with a coupling sleeve by engagement members which constitute spherical balls radially movable within apertures in the coupling sleeve for engagement within the annular groove of the drive shaft. A locking ring engaging around the engagement members holds them in the locked position within the annular groove and when the mechanism is in the unlocked position, the locking ring is held axially away from the locked position by a latching member which engages within the apertures of the coupling sleeve to hold the locking ring in the unlocked position against the biasing force of a spring. The invention relates to agriculture and can be used to connect two wapes, preferably a cardan drive shaft of an agricultural machine, with a tractor power take off shaft. The purpose of the invention is to expand the operational capabilities and increase the reliability of fixation in the axial and circumferential directions. An exhaust locking mechanism mounted on the sleeve, including a locking ring 3, spring-loaded by a pressure spring 4, and a female ring 3 and spring 4, a sleeve 5. In the holes 2 of the sleeve 1, there are fixed fixing elements 6 in contact with the inner surface of the locking ring 3. On the sleeve 1 there is a fixedly stop element 7. The latter is made in the form of a ring with guide grooves made radially to the connection axis. A retaining ring 8 with elastic profiled petals 9 and supporting petals 10 is also installed on the sleeve 1. Petals of the ring 8 are installed in the stop element 7 with the possibility of axial movement along the guide grooves of the latter. The petals 9 can contact their inner surface with the locking elements 6 and the walls of the radial holes 2, and the end surface of the support petals with the interconverted surface of the locking ring 3. The sleeve 5 has radial ones directed to the axis of the shoulder connection. One of the shoulders is in contact with the ring 2, and the second is connected with the pressure spring 4 installed in the sleeve between the said shoulder and the stop element 7. The coupling is mounted on the shaft 11 having an annular groove 1 2. The device works as follows. In the fixed off position (Fig. 1), the sleeve 5 is shifted to the left so much so that the locking ring 3 allows to be freely positioned by the locking element 6 in the radial holes 2 of the sleeves 1. Holding this position is ensured by inserting the profiled lobes 9 of the lock ring 8 into the radial holes 2 with elements 6. The support lobes 10 abut with their ends against the counter end of the locking ring 3 facing the elements 6. When the coupling is moved along the shaft I1 (FIG. 2), the latter moves the elements 6 in the holes 2 so that pro-; the lined petals 9 come out of the holes 2 of the bushings 1 are free, the sleeve 5 itself to move it over the sleeve I under the action of the spring 4. the most autumnal movement of the sleeve I on the shaft II (fig.Z) leads to the position of the structural elements when the locking elements 6 fall into the annular groove 12 of the shaft IIselection of power. The sleeve 5 is moved by the action of the spring 4 and the locking ring 3 automatically locks the elements 6, thereby perceiving all the radial forces of the said elements 6. The sleeve 5 and the stop element 7 are interconnected by gear teeth. The acute teeth 13 and 14 are formed on the intersected surfaces of the retaining element 7 and the sleeve 5, respectively. In the positions shown in Figs. I and 2, the sleeve is rigidly connected through element 7 with sleeve I. In the position of the stop (figure 3), the teeth 13 and 14 are disengaged, and sleeve 5 can rotate relative to sleeve I. The stop element 7 is fixed on the sleeve 1 by means of three recesses 15, which are made on the sleeve and evenly distributed around the perimeter, and stops 16, made on the element 7 and radially directed towards the sleeve 1. The element 7 has guide grooves 17 for axial movement of the petals 9 rings 8. Alternatively, the fastening element 7 can be grayed out with a hollow cylindrical protrusion 18, covering sleeve 1 without a gap. The retaining ring 8 is then installed on the protrusion 18. The fastening of the element 7 requires in this case y ish one stop 16 and one deepened 15 (Figure 7). The implementation of the locking ring 8 may also have its own variants. For example, according to FIG. 10, the locking ring 8 projects beyond the annular shoulder of the sleeve 5 and has a flange 19 radially directed from the connection axis located on the outer side of the sleeve. On the element 7 at a distance from the flange 19, which exceeds by a certain amount the thickness of the annular collar, radial support cams 20 are made, which are interoperable with the annular collar of the sleeve 5. Such an arrangement prevents the coupling from involuntary transfer from five 0 blocking to a fixed off position. The ring 8 can also be made with a radial collar 21 located between the second collar of the sleeve and the compression spring. The stop element 7 is made with stops 22, on which shaped petals 9 are supported in the locking position. With this design, the sleeve 5 can freely rotate in the locking position, since it is not in friction connection with the spring 4. Separate holes 23 are provided in the stop element 7 for the profiled petals 9 and holes 24 for the support petals 10. In the range of these holes, a stop 25 is provided that cooperates with the dog 26 on the support petals 10, which are provided with said dog 26.

Claims (5) [1] 1. Coupling for connecting two shafts, mainly the drive shaft of an agricultural machine drive, to the tractor's power take-off shaft, containing a coupling sleeve with radial holes, mounted on the sleeve concentrically with the last exhaust locking mechanism, including an axially spring-loaded locking ring and covering sleeve, as well as locking elements located in the radial holes of the connecting sleeve and in contact with the inner surface covering them beyond pore ring, characterized in that, with the aim of expanding - operational capabilities and improving the reliability of fixation in the axial and circumferential direction 0 five x, it is provided with a stop element fixedly mounted on the connecting sleeve, made in the form of a ring with guide grooves radially directed to the axis of the connection, and a lock ring formed with elastic profiled petals, covering the connecting sleeve and installed with axial movement in the guide grooves and contacting the inner surface of the petals with locking elements and the walls of the radial holes, and the face surface of the supporting petals made on the ring in contact with the end surface of the locking ring, the sleeve is provided with radially directed to compounds axis koltsepy- E shoulders, one of which contacts the end surface of the locking ring, and a compression spring disposed between the second collar and facing towards the latter end surface of the abutment member [2] 2.
